Hey fellas seems a lot of ppl are haveing trouble with idle etc at the moment. Well heres mine,

Start me car it stops again, start it again and it runs rough and continues runnig rough, also has a miss in it. When you run it up to temp it still idles rough. Its got new plugs and leads aswell. any suggestions??? the plugs/leads arent the cause as it was doing it before that aswell.

o2 sensor?
throttel postition sensor?
air fliter?
fuel filter?

Brand new fuel filter, fuel pump. and almost new k&n panel. was thinkin maybe injectors as i think the originals and the 280k

maybe coil packs, if the prob is always there id be getting the coils checked. im goin throgh similar probs at the moment but im 90% my prob is leads.

perform a search for author "johnandcandy" and keyword "idle problem" and repeat with same author and keyword "earth problem" as this will give you a good rundown of the types of problems that cause idle issues.

As you will find out, idle problems can be due to many many things but as idle is under ecu control, check for ecu fault codes 1st.

Even if no fault codes are indicated always suspect crank and cam angle sensors, idle control solenoid, spark leads, plugs, throttle sensor, fuel regulator, fuel filter air filter and o2 sensor, knock sensor and wiring and earthing.
