My EF series II has developed a problem with the TCC lockup. It is always engaged in third and fourth gears. All OK in first and second.
I have completed the EEC V diagnostics and does not report any faults at all.

From my readings on the forums here, Solenoid S7 is at fault. Firstly, is there any way to check the operation of this solenoid without removing the Pan from the Auto. If not, can I bypass the solenoid operation (disable it) so I do not have TCC lockup. This will allow me to get to work each day (without having to manually change down gears each time I need to stop) until I can sortout this issue properly
