Yes - for off road use only.

to top it all off, they can only work by making your car run rich, so thats pretty darn stupid to start with.

yeah ive got another question

why would you want it to start with? imagine the damage ud do to your rear bumber and the fuel ud go thru. a mate of mine used to do this in his rx7 by just dumping the clutch at high revs and it turned his bumber black after 3 or 4 times..

but i guess some ppl like that kinda s**t 8-)

Buy a rotary, like p0ly said.
A series III RX7 I was passing blew a nice blue flame out the zorst.
But you have to ask yourself whether you're willing to trade the reliability of the ford six for a rotary just for the ability to shoot flames out your exhaust...

We used to do a similar thing about 20 years ago, by installing a spark plug in the exhaust and hooking it up to a second coil and switch, but you have to make sure your car is running ritch before it works properly. :D

i must admit i've always wanted to do this, but flames like that around the fuel tank would scare me s**t less!
Especially now that I have a diff dumper the flames might be going right onto the fuel tanks!

By teh wayu, i made a thread about this a while ago, quite a while ago.
