lol, sif a puny 5" screen anyway.

The Blaunkput DVD playuer is wicked though, I've played with one in the sound board and it was a nice unit. Also the sound 4 dvd player and screen for under 100 bucks isn't a bad el cheepo buy, i mean even eBay.com.au wouldn't of beaten that price.

I was a little dubious of BI after seeing some of their practices on ebay - eg. pulling auctions for no apparent reason.

edit: I had a bid in on something, at the opening price, 5mins to go it was pulled for auction.

I work at Repco and guess what everything decent in that catalogue was sold out over a week ago! When the employees saw it they all bought it. Even I missed out, there were actually a few arguments on who could take what and that. Funny as. But for some reasont ehre still releasing the catalogue even though there's nothing left worth buying!

i called repco today asking about the screens dvd player he said they have none in stock but can get some in....im going to hold him to it!

Well I got the el'cheapo DVD player and 7" TFT tuner. The TFT LCD when fed a video in sig looks gr8 but has a built in tuner thats pretty crap, you can only get a pic with an external antenna but I got it for playing discs anyway and its outstanding for that. As far as the DVD player goes I couldn't really use the 4.1 outputs in the car cause all the sound then comes from the front speakers (like in your home cinema) but it sounds s**t in the car and it then also only plays CD's & MP3's through the fronts  So I just fed the main outputs into an FM transmitter to send to my main head unit and it sounds fantastic (for in the car anyway).
You just have to remember when you buy cheap you more often than not have to make some sort of comprimise to get everything working well....
But for $250 odd for a DVD player and 7" Widescreen LCD I'm pretty darn happy with the pic and sound I get in the car. I'm still just trying to work out where I'll mount the screen???

Its pretty s**t on repco's behalf IMO. most of the stores i spoke to only had enough stock to supply the employees.

f**k

Still, they suckered me in. I ended up buying a trolley jack and stands

a***hole.

LMAO thats the power of advertising my friend.

we buy some cars for the advertising value. we might not make any money of them (ie the ba gt-p we are wrecking) but it gets people talking and into the shop if one person tells 3 people and them 3 tell three more ect ect.. same thing as repcos just done. and you bit lol

Public speech is the best way to advertise. Reports say that one person tells 5000 about their experiences.

First off thanks for peoples kind words. My business is built on word of mouth and so I was excited to read people taking about good service and product.

Next. Sharp / Panasonic LCDs. What invariably happens in China is that manufactures use Sharp and Panasonic LCDs, but these LCDs are re-cycled and NOT new. (something which re-sellers seem to either forget or not know about)

Lastly. Offer. Anyone mentioning "fordmods.com" will get a 5% discount from the wholesale price list.

Just remember that we do NOT charge for postage anywhere in Australia

thanks

David
