can i get some help please. i had some body work done to my car a couple years back when it when in the left front door lock wasnt going down enough if u locked it with the remote a pulled the door handle a couple of times it would unlock now just recently it has gone the other way if u unlock with remote left fornt dosent come up enough to stay and relocks if u get in the locks cycle till u pull up on the lock can anyone tell me how to adjust the lock so it is in the right place

Hmm you have an EF? Because apparently Ef's had problems with central locking. This was most often fixed by the complete replacing of the door mounted solenoids (actuators) which most times cured the problem.

Take the trim off and have a look at what is happening when locking/unlocking. It might just be cathcing on something or a bent rod or something.

hey yea ef's were known for having the most troubles with smartlock etc... ive fukking had enough of mine... since ive had the car its f**k up 3 f**k times. replaced actuators and now the f**k mech has gone in the drivers door.. lol i cant win!
