Put dash back in, noe have airbag light flashing intermittantly.
Manual sez authorised dealer. Does anyone else see dollar signs flying out of my wallet?
Any ideas what I missed putting steering column and dash back in???????

Thanks in advance

make sure all your plugs are connected under column and when light flashes count how many times. is it 12? I think to erase airbag codes u need need to earth 4th pin across from LHS on top row of diagnostic plug when ignition on and wait for beep. confusing isnt it :?:

then reeats after 5 or 6 more secs

I went to Ask Johnny but he has errors on his page

Do you know if there are only the four connectors under the column?
1 big white
1 big brown
2 small black

You wouldn't have a schematic of that one would you? It doesn't ring any bells with me?

But I probably missed it!

yeah, how long did you have the dash apart?

If it was upwards of an hour or so, the error will just be a low battery warning. You can clear it, and it won't bug you anymore.

Code Clearing
# 1) Switch the Ignition On
# 2) Allow the Code to be Displayed.
# 3) Apply a Short Circuit to the Airbag Memory Clear Pin of the Diagnostic Connector to Ground (See above Picture for further details).
# 4) The Code will be cleared after 5 Beeps have sounded. Repeat the Above untill all the required codes have been Cleared.

Hrmmmm

thats am interesting idea guys, thanks

I did read on here the procedure for clearing an error but assumed it meant after you had fixed it?

Never read into it that the error it is reporting is the dash removal (which was an hour or two, maybe 3)

I will try it and let you all know, I just have to be bothered to crawl in under and check the plugs at the same time!

Nah it doesn't know you removed the dash, it does know the airbag was disconnected fro a long time.

Clear the error, and keep an eye on it, if it comes back then it's time to seek help.
