if u ask me you can ever really tell exactlly what YOUR very own car runs unless you take it 2 the strip and have a blast down the 1/4mile, but then u can never do that on the public roads legilly as you will pass the speed limit on anyroad.
U cant believe the makers of the car and if u ask me the mags (MOTOR, WHEELS, CAR, etc etc) can paint an average picture to what ur can will beable 2 run because when they get the cars, they only have 1-4,000km on the clock so they r hardly even run in yet. The guy next door had a BA XR8 Auto sedan and he said the motor got really strong after the 10,000km area.

griffo161 wrote: hey fellas, You will flog the Valiant. They were great in their day & the 265 is a strong six but arcaic. You will beat the Fairlane too power is about the same & even torque is only just in the V8's favour but it is a cruiser with a weight problem. your car will be quicker.
i have had this huge argument with one of my good mates about my car vs his car and then my car vs his mums car. My car is a '93 ED XR6 , i have got Pacemaker Ph 4480's and a hi-flow cat but the rest is stock, his car is a 1972 valiant ranger with a 265 hemi motor, i looked it up and that should (not 100% sure) have ruffley 151kw (he admits its gettin old), his is 3-speed manual and mine is a 4-speed auto, who would win in a race??? The second is my car again but against his mum's car which is a 1996 5.0L V8 Fairlane, its all stock 4-speed auto, who do u guys think would win in a race??? Thanks Dylan |
