Hey,

Looking to get the sound specs for an EF Futura. Specifically after the info on the amp. Going to be installing new stuff and I like to know what I have to start with.

Also, did they come with an Alpine 6 Stacker as standard? Mines got a genuine Alpine Head Unit but it has to be aftermarket, doesn't look like anything in the owners manual.

Ahh, nothing, brain f@rt. Thought there may be an aftermarket Amp somewhere, dont ask why.

The pioneer rear speakers on the parcel shelf in the EF Futura's, those were standard right? Anyone have the spec's on those? (I tried putting the catalogue number in and I came up dry, nothing in the owners manual either, the magnets are stamped Ford though)

Also, I've heard mounting tweeters in the ordinary place on the EF's makes for bad sound quality? In the tutorial on speaker placement the tweets are on the A-bar and look tight, anyone able to fill me in on how to do that?

Mounting tweeters in A pillars is a lot different to mounting them in standard locations. You get much less sound reflecting and refracting off the glass and you get better imaging with them angled towards the opposing headrest...

Pretty sure there not. The GLi only have the fours speakers (two in doors two on parcel shelf) wile Futuras and up have two little ones up there. I think its the start of the premimum siound system.

Futura had the low range stereo as standard, mid range stereo was an option, had Cd changer controls, and CD changer was another option. Fairmonts had the mid range stereo, again CD chnager was an option.
