I love em (second only to bug catchers), but shaker.com.au are a rip off, over a grand (and I thought SS Inductions were over priced plastic)!

heh, talk about thread resurection, anyway, I've progressed a little furtther with mine for the EF, I've sourced a repro fibreglassversion of an old style shaker cheap, will get alloy later when I know it works, all I will be using is the shaker itself and tossing the round aircleaner base, I'm yet to make a airbox to sit under the shaker, but plans are it will be some type of aluminium box with an outlet and tubing out the front down to the original airbox to start with, then I'll look at more mods when thats working, the goal is for a filter in the custom box and piped around directly into the maf sitting just of the TB doing away with the stock airbox altogether, utilising airflow to help remove any water etc. anotehr thought is to have some type of valve that only allows airflow from the shaker at speed, so when it sitting still in the rain the air is draw fron the normal snorkel under the bonnet.

oh and a big bugger off to the guys at shaker.com.au that refused my requests for photos of the plumbing under the shaker of their kits, all I wanted was to see how it goes together you over priced pricks.

Goddammit I alwaysget sucked in by threadminers!
Bit rude of shaker.com.au znipa.
I can't see how it hurts to share a bit of knowledge to a DIYer. Maybe if you were a company trying to bring out a rival kit, but I mean come on.
