Ah huh just a bit of everything, i dont do burnouts thou, but ahhh cant really say that when its wet thou... Its really hard not to... Not that it wears out too much tread on a wet road anyway. But yeah no inner or outer wear whatsoeva.

Drop the pressure a bit then.
Or alternatively corner harder... Steady ED says: 'If you haven't got a nice dark black ring of scrubbage on your fronts outer shoulders, you ain't going fast enough' That or you've actually got some negative camber... *looks at fairmont* Soon, my pretty, soon...

Yeah, being serious now, lower your pressure a bit. Seems strange that it's doing it with only 35psi in them but.
Keep checking wear on your tyres constantly. Tyre wear really gives you a great indicator of how your car is performing.

yeah, some tyres have a very soft compound.
I had some goodyear venturas on mine, didn't get 25 out of them and thats without caneing it too much. When i mentioned to them about how badly they wore, they said yeah, 25 was good for them tyres...

Yeah, you pay for good grip.
Both in initial cost and in the shortness of the tyres life. I'll be interested to see how the Dunlop SP3000's last on the Sprint, as they have s**t loads of grip, and seem to be of a fairly soft compound.

Yeah i might just lower the tyre pressure then, would 30-31psi be fine? thats alot less than what i have in them now.. anyway once i get the new tyres it wont matter anyway, i might stick to some harder compound tyres.
Thanks heaps for the suggestions

Yeah, I'd give 31-32 a bash, just check the wear.
I'm viewing my suspension upgrade as an investment. Cause the rate I'm chewing out my front shoulders is just insane.. What are the yokohamas like anyway?

Yeah the Yokohamas are great, its just they have worn out quicker than i expected them to.... Prolly due to my driving habits thou and car ofcourse. But the C-Drives are great in the wet and even better on the dry stuff.
They are a good performance tyre thats for sure.

i'm running my 225/60R15's at 40PSI....... funny thing is, when i bought my XF, it was scrubbing the inside of both front tyres pretty bad..... i replaced them with 225's, and i've done 20,000km on them, and there's no sign of any scrubbing.... go figure

Hmm well im still not sure what tyre i will choose next just depends what i can get bang for buck, will take a bit of 'bargaining' but im sure i will come out on top Might give the Pirelli's a go or mabe even Firestone, people bad mouth em but i had Firestone Firehawk tyres all round on the XF and they lasted fkn 4 years, no joke!! Thats what im looking for.

I cannot recommend Dunlop SP3000E's in 225/50R16 highly enough.
Merciless planting of the foot in the Sprint, and flat shifts into second on a damp road simply cannot upset them. But I'm not sure how they last Meh, if I have to choosegrip over longetevity, I choose grip

Hmm well i personally want a tyre that is best from both worlds. The Yoko tyres i have at the fronts 'S760's' thou might do the trick, they are a harder compound but are still very grippy.
