Yeah I just noticed I always blow my Passenger side Headlight when I have the Headlights already on and then I go too start up my EL. I thought maybe the initial surge of the Electrics when Starting up the Car blows the Headlight. Because I have gone through 2 headlight bulbs now in 2 months and I worked out last night that was the only similar things that was happening when the headlight blew. Does that sound plausible to peoples or is their any other reason maybe. As it is strange that it is always the Passenger side and not the Drivers side. Any one else have the same thing happening

I'd be happy that it is the passengers side going, rather than the drivers side. So much easier to change!
Perhaps try and get out of the habit of starting your car with the headlights on, they drain a bit of power so you end up with less across the terminals to be provided to the starter motor. Also the varying voltage that is delivered to the headlights while you are starting the car wouldn't be doing wonders for the globes...

Yeah only being the Pasenger side each time is the good thing about it. Though I am adept at changing the drivers side now as well despite the little or no room to put your hand down next to the battery etc. I have stopped starting my Car with the lights on now as well,
Cheers

Yeah the damn passenger side headlight always seems to somehow get loose or blow before the drivers side. b**ch to change both sides.

For me it's ALWAYS the drivers side light , always having to pull the battery out and reset the stezza and wait for the gearbox to learn shifts again etc, never once had to change passengers side light.
