I know this is another security code thread, and i apologise.
I purchased an 88 falcon privately last year and well i don't know the security code for the radio as i recently changed the battery. I rang my local ford dealer, gave them my VIN, they said it would cost $35 for the code, this a joke or what? :\ I've seen some people get their codes from users on here, so i was just wondering if anyone could help me out. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, bernie |

ive heard some do it for free and some make you pay....
just ring all the dealers and maybe you will get one.. just thinking about it there... could you make ford delete your code from their system? i mean, you could claim its a security hazard them knwoing your code :p

Have you tried contacting who you bought it off? They may still have the code.

Nah don't have any manuals or anything. I asked the previous owner, he has NFI, lol. Cheers for responses anyway folks.

eBay sometimes have a program for sale that can help you crack the code on radios like yours. If you give me your mobile number, I know a Ford dealer who could get you the code for $0 - no joke.
