Hell yes to your own track!! :D

Cause we are in such a tourist town, no matter what time of day (short of 1 in the morning) or what day of the week, all of those roads have tourists on them. Just gotta get lucky and get the ones that will move out of the way for you

nicco, last time i tried the kuranda range at 5:00 in the morning i saw two other vehicles, both trucks going up, maybe you should try that one? a bit far from portsmith where one of the photos was taken, but you know its worth it.

reckon you could post a time for the range?

yeah data_mine, most country roads are unsignposted, so 100 klicks is the norm, yet they might have no shoulders, and be nothing more then a single lane.
Yet, like you say, dual lane carriage ways with perfect road, wide shoulders and wide median strips get signposted at the same or less.
But hey, it's speed that kills, not bad roads...

I'm worried I'll burst into flames the instant I go over the posted speed limit. Causing the death of my passengers, inoscent bystanders, and turning myself sterile in the process.

But of course speeding fines is easy (and profitable) for the government, instead of proper driver education and road upgrades.

it's not bad roads either - it's bad drivers.
