Anyone able to tell me are they all the same/compatiable? The genuine head unit brackets on EA-EL. Just need to get another set for my dash screen, thought I'd go to the wreckers and hit up an EA.

Not sure about genuine ones, but when I moved my HU from the EA to the EL I had to make up new brackets.

They should be the same - not 99% sure, but should work, EA stereos are cheap as now. The brackets can always be drilled to fit your HU - worked for me in the past.

They should work - just called Fairmonts Ghia in Oakleigh - just drill new holes and the brackets should work.

Nah, what I do, is I jam the factory brakcets in between the unit and the ring/loop bracket that comes i3wth aftermarket headunits/dash screens, don't use any screws or anything. it's crude but has given me no issues in the last 2 odd years... need to get second factory brakcets for the dash screen now sop i'll go hit up an old ea.
