Hey,

I'm thinking about putting a Snort Performance Stage 2 turbo kit on the falcon and was wondering how difficult it would be to pass an emissions test. I hear falcons on gas pass, but petrol doesn't.

Is there anyone out there that has a petrol turbo falcon and has passed emissions tests?

Cheers

Rob

If its tuned right NO trouble..An extra cat helps...Much better chance with turbo than blower...

Thanks, I was thinking of using an extra cat. Also, i'm gonna use my standard ecu so i don't know how much tuning ability i've got.

Depends who you speak to. A bloke I work with had his Commonwhore passed with a Motec fitted but had to supply a letter from Motec to both the Engineer and the RTA that it was password protected and that the settings could not be altered by the customer. Of course they still gave him the password later on anyway.

I prefer th eout of sight out of mind approach but apparently it is no problem to get engineered with one there.

Apparently its a grey area as they say an adjustable ecu which can alter emmisions is not legal however ,a carburettor is easily adjusted... :?
