Ive just fitted front and brake Ford PPR upgrade preium brake kit from a BA to an AU1. The pedal feel after bleeding still gose to approx half pedal before any feel is in the pedal. Any one got any ideas why this is, i just got it back from having it prussure bleed and this has not made any differance. Not happy Jan.!!!!!!!!!

Was there a master cylinder change from AU1 to BA? Perhaps the pistons of the premium brakes have a higher volume than your AU ones.

Thanks for that i do believe that it has the 1" bore on the master cly that is fitted to the car already. Brakes felt better just with the single cly small disc with bendix pads.

OK this is how it all gose. AU1 is different to AU2/3 it has a smaller bore, a BA will not fit any AUs so there is also a change there. I now have to buy a bigger bore AU2/3 master cly. so now that has been ordered i will post the correct part # so that all will no. Thanks all for your help.....
