Oh ok i just thought that the xr rim may be a more mag wheel style nut instead of the long EA ones that i have as on pics of those wheels thay all seem to have a chrome looking nut thats all.

When I went from good old turboblades to the 16" FTR rims, I needed new nuts.
The old ones didn't have a shaft long enough to get onto the studs properly. If that makes sense

your better off trying wheel and tyre joints for mag nuts, most repco stores don't stcok them, ordered in only. |

u would have to match to wheel - ford studs ea to au are 1/2" thread &
most common would be long nut with 60 degree taper |

i just got ed futura rims, and my old eb fairmont wheel nuts dont fit, futura ones need tapered edge, eb fairmonts have a narrowed flat edge. in short i think you will.

Just remember - If you keep a stock rim as your spare, also keep a set of original wheel nuts in the car. Your spare will be fairly useless if the nuts from your new rims dont fit it.

Very good point ill have to remember to keep some in the car as spare! that would suck big time having a flat and a spare but no nuts! |

My mag ones will not fit my stock spare, hence I carry a set of original nuts for the chance I get a flat.
