Yeah I was just reading this story. Seems Americans do understand what a peice of s**t the Monaros are. How stupid is GM trying to rebadge a classic Muscle car such as the Pontiac from a generic peice of Holden crap as the Monaro.

Nah that's just yanks wanting their bonnet scoops, vents, bodykits and wings back like the ricers that they are.
If you ask me I think the monaro is a very nice looking vehicle, the pontiac less so.

Holden design team meeting??

Some things are so snazzy they never go out of style! Like tail fins... And bubble domes... And shag carpeting...

I want a horn here, here, and here. You can never find a horn when you're mad. And they should all play `La Cucaracha'.

What about a separate soundproof bubble-dome for the kids with optional restraints and muzzles? Bullseye!

It is quite silly; comparing a Mustang to a Pontiac(Monaro) and yet they are apparently rivals.. The names speak for themselves and I think I know what car many people would pick of the two, especially when the Mustang is $8000US cheaper.
