hi, i have a ea fairmont 3.9 and i just put in a wade 1004 112 today and the shims i got were a touch smaller than the ones already there, does this matter? the car seems to be fine after a bit of a drive...

mate it is fine the lifters always can take a short while to bleed up after removing and reinstalling them which it sounds like they have done so therefore if the lifters have bled up and are quiet its fine i wouldnt be worried about it
