Hi guys,
I just bought a reco holley carb list 6210 with standard jetting/power valve. it is a 650 DP. Now I didnt check the exact details before I bought it, but apprantly this carb is best suit to chev/gm motors and vacuum advance etc is calibrated for these motors, according to the holley website. The carby is going on to my 351C. Have I stuffed up n buying this carby or will it still work well on my motor if I change jets/power valve to suit? thanks Brendan |

the 6210 is spread. whilst the 4777 is square. my mechanic thought the 4777 would be better suited to my application for whatever reason.
I also just found out they are about twice as much to buy so will probably stick with the 6210 for the moment and then upgrade when/if required. |

I was running one of these on my 351, might be a bit much for a stick motor. Have you changed anything in there? Might be a bit much otherwise, but u say u have an engine builder, so whats th g.o.?

motor is mild. big cam, ported/polished heads, torker manifold and will be getting a 4.11 rear end soon and then giggle gas...so should work well with a 650DP...i hope... |

350 chev and 351 are nearly same size, if u change jets and power valve to suit ur motor, cant c why it wouldnt work fine, my brother had a 650dp on his relatively stock 351, that was a bit big but he never touched the jets or anything

Well thats basically the same combo as mine, I use a 770 avenger now and run a little rich, so a 650 will be fine
