Hello all.

Just wondering, is there ANY way at all to stop the range warning "BEEP BEEP BEEP" on my EL trip computer?? It drives me MAD! I find the computer functionality excellent, but I get sick of being reminded about the fuel range, and having to hit the RESET button every time!

I have a feeling the only way to avoid this is to:

1) Remove the buzzer from the instrument cluster
2) Keep my tank full of juice!

If there is another way I would love to know about it!

Cheers,

Perrin

3) Learn how to reprogram the IC in the Trip Computer.

Option 2 sounds best. You really shoudn't be running the tank empty anyway.

Just don't let the range go below 80 kms. It is there for a reason, just have to live with it, like the petrol being $1.20 cpl - live with it.

Yeah but I still owe money to the car before it pays itself off.
