EB XR8 ECU QUESTION

hi there
i was changing my kick panels because of interior change.
anyway i looked at the ecu and on the plastic near the plug it has
a part number in pink and next to it in brackets it has GTE
does this mean anything .
have i got something special or did i get exited over nothing.

GT might have had a slightly different timing map, maybe you scored one, maybe they all have GTE on them

i think you just got excited over nothing.

but just to be sure get the ford production part number of the ecu.

should be something like 91DA 12A650 HA

I have looked over the ecu and the only numbers i can find
are 9123 1014 and underneath that is e5af 14a624 aa (GTE).
