I had the same issue in my EB when we went down to ACT last year for the Show n Shine. She spent most of the time just below the red on the freeway. New radiator and she was fine

YES THE CLUTCH FAN WILL JUST GIVE UP, I HAD A PELACED WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR AND THEN FOUND THAT THE CLUTCH FAN COULD BE STOPED BY PUTTING YOUR HAND IN IT AT IDLE.
NEW FAN PROBLEM SOLVED. DONT BUY A GENUINE, THE ARE THE SAME AS THE JEEP CHEROKE AND THE Y ARE HALF THE PRICE. |

my fan seems to be spinning fine, revs with the engine, and dosen't appear to be slipping.
A new radiator it will most likely be, so i'll probably replace it within the week.

A new radiator for an ED should have the 2 captive nuts for the thermofan shroud in the top of each tank. EF/EL have smaller size bottom hose.
