Just wondering what size speakers are in the back of AU's? I am looking at upgrading them, but are unsure of what size they are, and if I can get aftermarket replacements to fit straight in.

Pioneer sell replacements mtx alpine type s alpine type r JBL there are couple of brands you can look at. |

cadance do them 2, i rather like the cadance ones myself, but they cost a pretty packet, they come in pretty orange tho

Type R's or the JBL's for me if you have to upgrade the rears. I'd prefer to keep rear fill standard, bandpass between 500htz - 3k. Then spend the money you sace on front stage. I have a $1,600 front stage and factory rear fill....

I took my old system out of my last car and it had 6-9's in it.
To put them in the back of the AU I just screwed them up from under the parcel shelf. Speaker cones fit great and its all flush under the original mesh cover.
