I have recently installed a nokia blue tooth car kit to my EF Fairmont Ghia. It has the ability to mute the factory system, however, when looking a the wiring on the factory premium system, there is no light green wire, as per the ford manula and ur list for the pin outs on the website. My q is, you guys have listed the pin as pin 6, on plug 1, how to i count which pin is no 6. Thamk

Looking at the above picture, pin number 6 is

Connector Number 1
Top Row
Last pin on the right
(The pin right next to the Number 1)....

I am not 100% sure if Ford added this Light green wire on EF Series I, or even EF Series II.
It was added for EL Models, but all Premium Sound Decks Support the telephone mute (So I have been told).....

Which might mean that you may need to shove a wire in to the back of the connector to get this working.

Let me know if there is a wire there or not, so as I can update the doco...

P.S. If you want to add the wire in cleanly, check out the Adding VGA Connector to BA Premium ICC
http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/documents.php?doc=38

This doco shows you how to add a wire to the Ford Connectors.
Lemme know how it all goes.

Note: you'll need a relay to get it to work. Its the reverse of most muting systems, (requires power, rather than going to ground)
