Ok my motor is a stage 5 motor from ITS Performance (thanks again mark) and its time for the exhaust and extractors. now im putting the no comp pacies as the comps wont fit there with the lpg converter so thats ok but as far as exhaust goes im lost. What would be the best exhaust for that motor and extractors as money is no issue on my baby Cheers sureflo exhaust is another good brand. check the comparison with the redback on the dyno sheet.

why won't the comps fit? if your lpg converter is in the comon spot there should easily be more than enough room! mines on gas and it's no were near it, most Falcons that i've seen on gas have the converter in the same spot.
i put the factory heat shield on aswell, just bent it a bit to fit over the pacey comps. works well. |

My converter is mounted on the front left strut, up high.
Where is yours to make pacey comps a non-fit? I'd just move the converter if I were you, like twr7cx said. edit: Front RIGHT I mean, before someone picks up on that

yeah the converter is on the left strut but mark said that the comps wont fit.
ok so as long as its 2.5 mandrel bent its all good. Are there any better brands than lukey and redback though. also since its a stage 5 engine y cant i got 3 ' as i want a deeper note cheers |

A 2.5" mandrel bent system, with straight through mufflers will suit you fine.
Lukey, redback, make good mufflers. The mandrel bent pipe is much of a muchness. A single straight through muffler will flow f**k, and sound mean (possibly only semi-legal though ) On the 3", I'm getting deja vu, cause theres a thread where we were just discussing it. It probably won't make you LESS power per se, it's just that it's not the 'done thing'. It's not needed for anything under 200rwkw (so by default, not the N/A 6) IMO. It's better to stick with the tried and true 2.5" mandrel bent, IMHO.

look man why dont u give jim mock a call or email him he knows everything there is to know about these cars tell him whats going on and he will tell u what he thinks thats what i think.
but i think genraly for better sound its got to do with the mufflers and for better flow the diamiter of the pipe and the number of mufflers. everything should be mandrel bent and straight threw. |
