My drivers side window is stuck open. The motor works fine but the elevator lift that raises and lowers the window is shot. I need to order the part but I do not know what it is called. Does anyone know? thanks!

just ring up ford spare parts, get the part number and price, then try the wreckers for a S/H item.

just did a quick google of your location, new jersy USA?, if no one on here can help you (this is a predominantly aussie site) try {DESCRIPTION} they are a US site and probably a lot more helpfull

Yeah sort of similar size, but worse (much worse, I wouldnt own one unless you paid me well), I had to work on one in the local dealership years ago, the owner was a visiting US Army soldier, brought it with him, he should have left it back in the states, it makes late model Camira look good.

LMAO, the camira...what a classic car. Funny thing, my grandfather owns an 82 model and runs it on premium because he says it runs smoother. That car runs so rough you could probably use sugar water and it would run like a dream.

Cheers

STOPPPPPPPPPPP i just replaced my motor thing and it was fuged up ( dint work )

but if yours still works do this , go ford get the rubber seal things around window replace them then get some silicon lub froma spray bottle from repco and spray it in the new seals.

your window should work fine and if it doesnt then its the motor.

the motor costs like 300 bucks but the seals cost 70 and the silicon costs 10 so try them first.

good luck darls.
