I was wondering if anyone knew a place a good cheap place to get your car resprayed around melbourne, and roughly how much would it cost an XF Sedan to get resprayed with a gloss paint.

what type of paint u after 2pack, acrylic, enamel?

most car paints are a "gloss" style finish

then do u want metalic?

best thing to do is grab the yellow pages have a look at the ads for panel beaters/spray painters
go in and see them talk to them ask how much etc and what will be done to the car and then add $500 on top just incase somethign pops up

avg respray u will be lookign at around 3-4k

Some places will be busier than others ... so there might be a bit of wait until they can even start work on your car as well.

thing is like frank said cheap and pro dont go together. it's like anything you get what you paid for. I forked out a 2 spot for a respary on my ute cleaned it right up but it left much to be desired, then when i had my ZH sprayed i literally through away best part of 7500 cause it was stolen and burnt out before i got it on the road (f**k twocers ) but man you can pay massive massive amounts for the right job. it just depends i suppose on how much of a perfectionist you are.
