I don't know heaps about car paint or anything but wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just buy bumpers that are already colour coded red?
The reason I ask is because I beleive the standard grey bumpers on falcons have a rough texture to them unlike the colour coded ones. I remember painting the standard bumpers on my old VN Dunnydore with a spray-pack of colour matched paint and the result was pretty ordinary to say the least. I was told afterwards that you have to prep the bumpers really well with spray putty to remove the textured surface and to give the paint something to stick too. Or maybe the paint I used was too good for a holden and didn't want to be caught out in public |

no plastic can not be powder coated. if you do paint them your self id suggeest taking them off, and take your time. there is plenty of topics in here about painting and in each one it is stressed that preperation is the important step.

Bumpers are plastic. When things are powder coated, they are "sprayed" with a magnetic material that sticks to the metal, and is then baked on in an oven. So, plastic, no

How about paint the bottom section of your doors matching grey with the bumpers ... make it 2-tone ...have seen it done before .... doesn't look all that bad actually.
