there is some low viscosity synthetic oil out there now. apparently a low viscosity oil improves power by not being so restrictive. 0W-40 is available, along with 5W-30.
thoughts? |

thoughts? 0w-40 oil at operating temp is no different to a 15w-40 and is thicker then the 5w-30. ford recomend 5w-30 or 10w-30 in the AU 6 cyl and 15w-40 in the all of the 'E' 6 cyls. |

![]() that only means your engine has alot wear in it. or was not meant to have 5w30 in it in the first place. i went from using penrite 10w50 to motul 10w40 and my oil pressure went up. |
