For those with forced induction, I have included a pic of the balance tube connecting to the regulator. You DO need the metal top plate for the convertor, otherwise the pressure (boost) will cause it to leak & eventually crack. Thats a 1/2" balance hose I've used. This keeps the mixture consistant across most of the rev / load / boost range (low boost for continous duty use).

What plate are you talking about, the metal cover with the balance pipe going into it?

Steady ED the idle mixture screw will probably be the brass knurled screw on the bottom of the convertor in the picture. I have never seen that convertor before. Just keep count off the number of turns. If its the idle screw it should instantly affect the idle. Turn for the smoothest idle, easy like tuning a carby. The balance pipe was put into the airbox to give it a still air reading. The convertor is obviously affected by wind gusts. My work van stalls everytime its windy at idle. I am too lazy to run a balance pipe because to install it neatly it would end up being at least 3m long.

Otherwise put up some decent close up pics of the convertor.

Will do Bert.
I had a look at the supposed mixer, and there ain't no adjustment there.
It's merely a 2.5" pipe with a connection for the gas line.
Theres a solenoid looking type thing in the gas line, between convertor and mixer, says 'electronic feedback control' on it.
It's got a knurled knob on the top of it.
Anyway, I'll take some more pics tonight,
thanks for the help :D

Jared

Problem semi-fixed.
It can all be traced back to a mechanic not securing a dizzy cap properly!
Still a bit 'lumpy' on idle, but doesn't want to stall now!
Will take it to an LPG specialist to get it tuned properly.
Thanks again guys.

I'm not talking about the mixer. You can see the brass screw on the bottom of the convertor in your last posted picture.
