Hey boys

My 6 cd stacker (boot mount) wont eject... now it makes the clicking noise and pops a lil, but duznt move.......

here is the stacker removed (i couldnt even open the darn thing!!)

q's.
1. Do u think if i took it to ford, they could fix it?

2. Im gonna get a aftermarket deck soon, will with stacker with with aftermarket system? if not, i wont bother fixing it. For sale then :)

3. Could a audio store like fx radio or jb hi fi fix it?

I pulle dmine apart, greased ti all up, put it back together, worked for another 6 months, then stuffed up again, i bought a 2nd hand one.

mate, its piss easy to pull the magazine out.... i average 15 minutes to pull the stacker out, pull it apart, get the magazine out and put it back together again

pull the covers off it, look underneath the magazine from the back, there'll be a small metal tab sticking up, reach in with a screwdriver and push it towards the stacker door, it should spit the magazine out

takes about 5 seconds with a flat object like a credit card used to push the little tab.

no it wont work with an after market deck i have tried and it it just wont happen as for getting ya cd's out get a credit card or something simmilar and puch it in between the bottom of the cartridge and where the eject button is just a quick push in there and it will pop straight out

with the ford 6 stackers just slide the card alond the bottom of the cd magazine until you hit the tab. just tried it worked with a gokart licence :D

PROBLEM FIXED!!!

The previous driver slotted the cartridge in the wrong was...

thanks boys!

all i had to do was take the covers off and push it out (with force) and thats it!
