well just got an XHII XR6 ute and want to do something bout the stereo, has any1 done a decent stereo in 1 of these, they only have 4 inch speakers atm and they are s**t..... so what i was thinking is get some pods in the doors put a couple of 6.5" Jaycar Kevlar splits in there and then make up some little boxes to sit on the shelf behind the head rest and put another 2 kevlars behind that and run them of a 2x150 watt Jaycar amp, or the the 4x100 be better i have had ppl tell me different things about weather u need 2 channel or 4 channels to run 4 speakers????

so has any 1 got anty other ideas in what to do

I would get a nice big four channel for the speakers. Then depending how much room you have behind the seats, a slimline sub box and a sub or two depending on the space. look at my gallery, are they the pods you talking about.

Couldnt you put the sub in the compartment that houses your fuel tank and box it up nicely and have the front of the sub into the cab??

not even enough you for the pioneer slimline sub. It is only 8.3cm deep for therefore you would need room for 13cm for the 18mm you would use.

I have got a 6.5 bazooka bass tube behind my passenger seat of my XH. Tight fit but can be done for some bass
