Ok, time has definately come - inside edge of front tyres is as bald as Peter Garret, and one has a friggin tack in it with a slow leak so I really do need to do something very soon - especially if we continue to have rain.

I don't wanna stick tyres on the stock 15" rims, so still looking for some 17" wheels in Sydney for the AU.

Would prefer BA XR6 mags, or BA Fairmont (ghia?) mags. Also there seem to be a lot of AU XR6 mags, only one syle of which I like - I think they might just be called 'Tickford' - they are 'similar' to the BA Xr6 mags style but 'flat' spokes if that makes sense. I don't like the hurricane style or the flowery ones.

Looking at spending about $800 with good tyres (say 75%) and expect a few marks but no major gutter scrapes.
