What sort of RMS power should I be looking at for an amplifier to run 150 watt RMS Splits?

Im pretty sure it is ideal to get a slightly more powerful amplifier, to have head room, and for tuning. So in your case, 2 splits is 300WRMS total, so try and find a 350WRMS one, or just a 300WRMS one, but with the price difference Im sure a 350 would be better.

Cheers

i would try an find a two channel, probably about 200wrms x 2 would be right to run them good. With the right cross over at about 100htz or so and the gains set right they would be sweet.

Cheers.

yeah, you can definately overpower a speaker. Thats why you start tuning low, and work your way up.

I don't understand the second part of your question?

Cheers

well i have 70wrms splits run off 125wrms and they go fine. However these are run at 160htz and the gain is 0.8. It really depends on the gain. Its better to have more power than less power so it prevents clipping which is just burnout waiting to happen.

Cheers

I'd be loking at around 200rms per side to give you a bit of headroom.
