i recently got a ea spac 5 speed .
i was wondering what ratios did they come with.
i had a look at the diff this morning and the ratio tag said 2.92
i thought they had 3.08 and 3.23.
also on the filler plug there is a tag that said slip resistant.
does this mean that its a lsd .. because it doesnt spin both wheels.
but i guess the centre could be stuffed..
anyway if it has a lsd centre would it be 25 or 28 spline axles..

any info on diff ratio combinations would be good

Hey, according to Ford EA series 1 diffs were the following
3.2 man - 3.23
3.9 cfi & mpi man - 2.92
3.9 both & 3.2 sedan auto - 2.77
3.2 wagon auto - 3.23

series 2
3.9 both man - 2.92
3.9 cfi 4-spd auto - 3.08
3.9 mpi 4-spd auto - 3.23

lsd versions are supposed to have a metal tag on the oil filler plug, maybe yours once did limit slip but the clutches are now stuffed.
not sure about the spline though

considering it has a 2.92 diff
its pretty quick in first and second .
i was suprised how punchy it is down low.
but i have only owned auto falcons..
i might change it to 3.45 and see what happens
