{USERNAME} wrote: The pacemakers should cost around $600, cats arer about $200-250ea and fitting would be $200 so $12-1400 would be realistic. Any yes, you should see decent gains over the EL2 headers.
is the $600 for the competitionheader version ?

Pacemaker no longer make the competition series headers for the E-series V8's, although even when they did they were only really good for high powered, high reving stroker or blown engines. The standard tri-y PH4000 headers are perfect for the majority of stock to heavily modified engines {USERNAME} wrote: I am looking at buying new cats. Can anyone recommend some nice flowing ones, or know of 2nd hand ones ? IE, VY, BA XR8 or something that would fit ??
I also run magnaflow cats on mine, awesome quality items. You probably won't notice any real difference to engine note. As for 2nd hand cats, the Holden Gen3 cats or the BA V8 ones are decent options if you can find them cheap. |
