just asking on behalf of a mate - whats the process for removing the steering wheel from an XG ute? :?

Isnt it the same as an EF/EL?
Is XG= EF??

Ahhh. Would it not be the same as an EF/EL steering wheel removal.
Undo the battery take off the airbag and undo the torq bit and take it off.

nope, XG's are the same as EA-ED, pop the horn pad out of the middle, undo the big nut in the middle and before you remove it, mark on the steering wheel hub and the shaft so you can put it back on straight, then simply pull the steering wheel towards you
