preformed a quick KOEO self test on my car and found these interesting codes :
523 - AC blower fan sensor fault 795 - BBM output check fail could someone please shed some light on these codes what they mean and how to go about fixing them. thanks guys

What vehicle model is it.
Do u have climate control. Is it working ok. Does the fan run. Do u have any probs starting.

EF II Ghia
everything works except it idles realy low and revs drop down fast when shifting gears nearly stalling. some times idle jumps up and down. preformed another self test today and thoes 2 codes where not present any more. yet to preform a self test with engine running.

Just up the base idle speed.
Had the same problem with my EL Ghia when I put a manual in. Its not expecting the revs to drop so quickly, and causes it to stutter on idle. Resetting base idle fixed my problems there. |

Resetting base idle fixed my problems there. yep i did that now it ildes at 1000rpm but dosent drop down rapidly. but my car never dropped revs this fast it use to run ok

Are you still using the Ghia ECU, or did you get a manual ECU?
And is the clutch adjusted correctly? Not dragging a little causing the revs to drop. If its still the auto ecu, its expecting a torque converter to resist the revs drop, so not dropping so quickly. With mine, I adjusted the idle up high and let it learn for a couple of days, then when the idle stabilised, I slowly started adjusting it down day by day till it was happy at 750/800 rpm. Sometimes it fluctuated up and down but it never stalled or caused a problem. |

yep its still got the ghia ecu. thats a good idea tho letting it learn. mite give it a go just gonna change the fuel filter on the weekend first.
