I rang Ford and asked how many V8's were fitted for EL's and that section above is taken from the information I got.

Only V8's listed above. As you can see, not all that many of them seeing as every other EL was an I6.

I'm sorry mate, I didn't ask for any EF information from Ford. But they'd tell you over the phone if you rang them.

I feel very lucky to be the owner of 1 of 284 nice rides.....I'd imagine there would only be about 250 or so left cause I bet a fair few would have died over the past 7 years!!!

What about us 1998 EL owners ;) I'm guessing my Fairmont is a pretty rare one: 1998 Cinnamon, 5.0 V8, EL Fairmont.
I asked Ford about 1998 EL Fairmont V8 production numbers a few weeks back and they said they had no data for that search. I did email though, not ring. Might have to try that instead. Where did you ring Vic? The Factory?

Darin.

Actually I think I rang Ford on 13 3673 which was suggested to me by Interceptor during FM1. I spoke to some lady there who didn't hesitate to give me the info I wanted. Shouldn't be too hard.
