am i right in saying you just worked out they are different. what you do is run a pipe from the tb to the snorkle fitting on the ef bottom half. block off of the hole in the lid and make a new one for the XH intake |

he still has the retriction at teh top of the airbox/begining of the intake pipe Its his MAF. Unless youe going fullhouse on a VL it costs too much to ditch the MAF. |

That way, you wouldnt need to modify the lid, just stick the normal one on. And then just modify the bottom half. ut i doubt it would be worth the gain anyway!
