Hey all,

I'm am in the process of doing the dash lights so on and so forth, i wish to pain the dash of the car white, ive been told not to use vynil spray as it chips and flakes.

I was wondering if the same paint that is on the out side off the car would be alright to paint the dash in. If so what and how do i need to prepare the dash first?

Cheers guys

Choca

Use plenty of wax and grease remover before u prime/paint - that will stop flaking/chippping.

Just had a look at your website, looks good in red but would have looked mad in a metallic color.

rub it back with some fine sand paper and some wax and grease remover before painting to remove any previous armor-all etc.

Prime it with any "decent" spray can of primer (don't use clints stuff!) haha

Paint it with again, any "decent" spray paint in your chosen color, Then Clear it.
