Hey guys, i did a quick search but couldnt find anything so im sorry if it has been posted before,

basically, my central locking (factory), fuel flap release and boot release have all stopped working, has this happened to anyone and what should i look for? i thought maybe it would be the BEM but the interior light delay is still working (btw its a fairmont ghia eb s1), any ideas?

Check fuses (with a multimeter, since the breaks are not always visible). Is anything else not working?

cruise still works, climate still works, just the boot release, fuel release and c/locking

ill have a crack at the fuses tomorrow and see how i go

after mucking around with fuses turns out my dr lock fuse was blown but it still looked intact, thanks for the heads up data_mine

I've had a couple over the years 'blow' but the break wasn't visible. Only way to check is with a multimeter or a whole bunch of fuses swapping each one.

do the BEM's and Smartlock modules get cracks in the fuses/printed circuit boards?

any circuit board can get a crack it in ... usually only when it is dropped or stressed - could be I spose...

I recently fixed a broken LCD monitor. It's power supply board was cracked, just enough to brake a few traces. So now I have a screen for the car
