ok heres the story, i blew my head gasket and got lube mobile to come out and fix it, they came out and did the job...now because i was replacing my springs i didn't drive it for a coule of weeks, anyway got in today to drive to work and it i running like an absolute bloody pig, exactly like it was when i did the gasket! now i paid this bloke over 2k and he even took it for a test drive (i was at work) why is it like this? im starting to wonder if he even did the timing on it? anyway im going to get onto them and get this guy to comeback out.

what im really wanting to know is, if they don't do it for free can i take them to court? because i paid for my car to be fixed and its exactly the same as it was when i did the gasket.

You paid 2k? f**k me dead!!

It might just need time for the ECU to relearn if that battery was disconnected at any stage.

dont see why not, but you will need another mechanic to inspect it and prove that because of this mechanics worksmanship, it has blown the headgasket again. It has to be the only thing that blew it, ie if they didnt clean the radiator, and u did not ask them 2, and it blew because of a cloged radiator, its not their problem. Good luck

i basically got a whole engine recon, and yes the radiator was cleaned out, the heads were shaved, new spark plugs, all new gaskets, even a new timing chain guide! it got the full work.

Lube Mobile?
*breaks into the song off their ads*

It's entirely possible the d***head didn't set your base timing, although i don't know why he would have changed it?
Unless he took the dizzy cap off and then slapped it back on again like a 'tard.
You got a timing light and a flexible right hand? :D

make sure he didnt forget to reconnect a vacuum line...leaving one of those off makes for a very lumpy idle!!!

When i replaced my h.g., it started out running like a dead dog. i think it was that the ECU needed relearning.
perhaps spark plugs in wrong order (if its REALLY running rough).
