I have two questions that I need some confirmation on.

1. Are the stock 5.0's in all our E-series cars all fitted with roller camshafts or did some come with hydraulic camshafts?

2. When the Police were using EL's for patrol cars, did they ever have XR8's converted to Police cars or were they all I6's?

Not sure if they were XR8s but the EL cop cars did have V8s.

My EL XR8 is an X police vehicle ,which has G build code option, this is speed limiter removed, speedo in 2km/h increments, firmer single rate XR suspension, lower diff ratio, and different PCM for transmission (revs to 5600rpm in D in power mode)

Same as these days (for NSW anyway); Entry level Commodore/Falcon 6cyl for GD (naturally with the police options). HWP used the equiv sports models SS/XR8 with the police options.
