Bleed valve... easiest way i know. need: adjustable valve, restrictor,, someone who knows what they're doing.
Or try find a cheap elec boost controller 2nd hand??

That's a fair bit more boost.
Can be done with an Edit

As martin said.
I'm assuming it's a BA XR6T, in which case putting in a bleed valve to up boost will do SFA. The ECU will see the increased boost, and hello limp-home mode. Either get a Unichip or a Flash Edit.

Not to mention the turbo isn't fuel mapped for the extra boost so even if the ecu doesn't stop it you will run lean.
Need to get an edit as suggested above. Definately worth it though.

Yeah, MBC's dont work too well with factory boost controlers... but they can help bring boost on quicker.
I put a GFB bleed valve on my 850R and the ecu/factory boost controller cut it back down to 10psi, but it did spool alot quicker |

Bleed valves are normally used with fuel cut defenders as well so as to stop the ecu seeing the extra boost. But as pyoray said, the computer isn't mapped for the extra fuel required by it so you can run lean and do serious damage with detonation. I was just thinking cheaper options first. Whats an edit cost??
