Finally got my ef lowered today. It was lowered 1 1/2 inches with king springs from wholesale suspension penrith, could have gone lower but wanted it to be driveable.
Alloys will going on saturday(ba xr6 with ef offset) :D
unable to get pics on the attachment but the before and after photos are in members gallery.

The springs i got were the heavy duty king coil springs 1 1/2inch lowered

The cost was:
springs $155 pair *2
fitting $180
wheel alignment $40
so all up it was $495 including GST.

ahh mate u could have got them from the fordmods discounted wharehouse for $220 for four springs.. oh well, None the less it looks alot better champ! i'll be doing this hopefully this week. King Spring Super Lows, camber/castor kit, new shocks.. Cant wait, Lowering the car makes it look a heap better, and handle so much better too! hope your glad!

i wasn't going to do it for awhile yet i just went in their to get a price but when she said it could be done their and then i couldn't wait. Just drove in and waited an hour and half payed the money and drove off with smile from ear to ear, but yeah it hands great as well!

yes the sway bars are next after the wheels but i have to wait until the misses will talked to me again.
I put heay duty sway bars in my first car it chaned the feel dramaticly, i cant wait.

Bah, dont stress about the wheels. I'd be doing the sawybars first. Even with 15s the handling with big swaybars is great.

Wheels can come at a later date.

(actually, i just realised, are you aiming for looks or handling? if you want looks, yeah wheels are good)

$150 for fronts then anotehr $150 for rear, $50 labour.

yeah ure labour was cheap tho the mech did it dast so he didnt have to look at ure interior.

i paid a lil over 400 for mine with new shocks

Twirqurk the springs cost $155 for a pair but the labour was the killer but they did my first car and it was great . I dont care if i have too pay abit more aslong as they do a good job. I like how you can go to all these different places and their such a big difference labour prices, bigger places bigger overheads..
