I had a reground Wade cam (1004 / 110) at it was great, then i went to somthing a bit more potent (modified 1521a) so i HAD to get a new billet... it was either that ot have my rockers machined so they'd sit lower... If the cam you are getting isn't too wild, then a regrind is definately the way to go, but it reaches a point where you need to get a new billet. Cheers, Dave |

Can we clear up something. Standard EA - EL engines run shims. Billet cams also need shims but not extra shims or thicker shims as is the case for a reground cam. The billet cams however still need to run the standard shims. Chris Wade Cams |
