Hey, I have a Sony CDX 52 10 Cd Stacker and using the factory head unit . There is a CD button but nothing happens when i press it.

So i have
When i press AM, I can hear some of the music but with alot of static (sort of listening to the radio frequency not tuned).

So i dont know how to tune it to play from the stacker...i have gone through all of the frequencies with no luck. I have pulled out the unit and had a look and all cables are in.. so im basically stumped on how to tune it in ( iwould have though that pressing the cd button would work but obviously it doesnt..)

so is it hooked in to the stock head unit or does it run through a fm modulator meaning do u need to be on a fm station for it to be picked up the other thing is did u check the cables at the other end that goes in to the stacker

im stupid... sorry about this... i just figured it out... i was on FM before but it was just skipping the frequency it should have been at...
