Pretty sure they were 175kw at the flywheel and 395nm of torque

not sure if it changed as the series incremented in the forte model

Nah the AU Series 1 Forte V8's are 170kw at the flywheel, the XR8's are the 185kw's.

And did they have the GT40 head's and explorer manifold or still E7's?

All non-XR AU V8's were 175kw. They had GT40p heads.

The only difference between the non-XR 175kw, and the Series 1 XR8 185kw were headers/exhaust (and possibly ECU calibration??).

EL xr8 series 1 is 170kw, EF is 165kw, u can drive them on your P's, up to series 2 AU with 200kw, anything under is alright.
